Tbh the idea of exploiting 100s of people for my personal gain makes me want to set the gun down and put on a trigger lock.

Whatever it is, it isn’t worth it
Having lived in a house with radiators, bleeding registers is like a once every 5 years type of task. There’s a much larger leak in the system, you should talk to your apartment manager.
Still a drop in the bucket, but these are fine numbers I can get behind
When’s a good time to visit? I’ve been fishing up in Canada, but I’ve never visited the cities up there
And what was the outcome of this IP theft? A video mocking a multi billion dollar corporation? They took down the specific product called out, but they still make extremely similar dslr bags to peak Design and they’re definitely still copying other companies designs. This is my point. IP laws only benefit the billionaire class and fuck over everyone else.
You’re saying that like it isn’t already rampant. IP laws are a textbook example of classist disenfranchisement. It’s a rule for which the capitalists are protected and not bound by, but which workers are bound by and do not receive those protections.
I work for a game company, the only reason I would tell you not to use a pirated version is because it probably isn’t cracked properly and will throw client-server errors. You’ll want to crack it in a way that will still receive the playlist updates
My workplace offers a mental health benefit similar to this, we inform HR that we’ve scheduled a mental health appointment during work, tell our manager that we’re stepping away for an hour, and then return to work after the appointment. It would be a good idea to ask someone in your company how to use your benefit.
I’ll be the first person to remind you that HR is not your friend, but this is exactly what they exist for
I use the app opentask. Based on your criteria, it’s exactly what you’re looking for. It’s all stored locally on your phone, it has the ability to set recurring tasks, and you can create categories of preset and custom tasks. Deadlines can be set as far into the future as you need, down to the minute. It’s available on F-Droid.
Interesting, what was the browsing experience for each? Aside from opera, which I noticed you mentioned was the worst of the 4
Content moderators are superexploited. These employees primarily work from African countries like Kenya, so there’s a whole second layer of neo-imperialism that I won’t get into right now. They’re given poverty wages, sometimes as low as $1.30/hr. Because they’re content moderators, they have to look at images and read descriptions of traumatic events without respect for mental health. OpenAI, Amazon, and Facebook have engaged in aggressive union busting tactics for these workers as well, though workers were still successful in organizing one of the largest labor unions in Africa.
You’re probably out of luck trying to convince this person of your opinion. However if it comes up again and you want this person to walk away, I’d recommend mentioning the horrible working conditions that content moderators have to go through. Contrarians don’t like unassailable facts.
CVE-2022-2601 was discovered in 2022, but for unclear reasons, Microsoft patched it only last Tuesday.
I respect their journalistic integrity for not speculating, but it was definitely because the NSA was exploiting it.
Our greatest wizards and sorcerers are finally exploring the primordial majicks
About damn time computer scientists invented magic
I wouldn’t call it bullshit, it’s the media cycle trying to find interesting research for profitable articles that spun the bullshit. This is likely a secondary study on the way to scientifically measuring consciousness. “Publish or perish” type shit.
Try not to laugh at the name of the 7th planet challenge (impossible)
There are little sidewalk sweepers about the size of golf carts that get used by colleges, it would work perfectly for a bidirectional bike lane.
It would violate my NDA to say anything more than: yes, all of the software I’ve helped develop use the name of mythical creatures during development
