It’s v1 from a relatively new company, trying something unprecedented. I’m not surprised it has some major flaws. The first Gen framework 13 did as well.

I own a Gen2 and a Gen3 framework 13 and they are both phenomenal. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a slim laptop, that wasn’t overly concerned about cost.

I’m sure the Gen3 FW16s will be great as well, but it’s going to be a bit before I would recommend them to anyone.

What I think would be great for framework to do next is to design a purpose built eGPU for the framework 13. I would really enjoy something that would turn the FW13 into a decent gaming PC, while still retaining the portability for travel.

Call the fire department, they have detectors that they can use to look for gas leaks and other things that can set off a detector.

You can also call your gas provider. One of those two should be able to track it down, it could be a lot of things, but two different smoke detectors going off in the same location is a huge red flag.

Best case, you have something kicking up fine dust, worst case, you have a smouldering electric fire in your wall somewhere.

Don’t panic, but also do not ignore this.

How do you set this up to forward properly? Do you use different domains for different services? like plex.example.com?

I currently have nginx set up to forward based on port, which is fine for me, but it could be a little better.

I can run much faster quadrupedally, but I get exhausted faster too.

Trade in value drops very rapidly for non-iphones after a year or two. You can often get 50% back on the purchase by trading in a functional phone.

I’m excited that they continue to innovate and listen to customers. I own two Framework laptops, and I’m thrilled that I can easily upgrade to this version without having to replace the whole thing.

Even better that I can replace parts as they wear out, or as I feel. I love the monitor, so no need to replace it now. If it ever gets damaged though, I can grab the upgraded one without changing anything else. If the battery starts to suck, I can update to a higher Wh one.

Which isn’t too unexpected. Having it as an IV treatment would mean it’s not targeted. I don’t understand how something like that could replace individual teeth that were damaged, and not just didn’t grow because of a lack of something in the body.

If I had to guess (not being a toothologist), I’d think there would have to be some sort of injection, or implant, to trigger an individual tooth replacement.

Assuming you are talking about hearing protection: I know people that like them, but I wasn’t a big fan. I probably didn’t do it perfectly, but it’s so time consuming and kinda expensive, so I didn’t want to keep trying.

I just use the disposable squish 3m foam earplugs and they do great. Easy to put in, don’t fall out.

It somewhat depends on the game, and the order that you pair things in.

I’ve run my steam deck, docked on the TV, with 2 Nintendo Pro controllers, 1 XBox controller, 1 Stadia controller, all running over bluetooth, and a fifth PS3 controller plugged in via USB. From what I understand the limit is 8 controllers, but I think the built in controller counts as one.

You can go into the settings and tell it which controller is which, but in the end, the game can override things and make it not work as expected. The only way to really know is to check on a game-by-game basis.

They basically already have one. The steam deck with the dock (though you have to provide your own controller.)

They’d certainly gain some performance improvements by building a dedicated steam machine, but it would also split the market for the steam deck, which the article already talked about as being a negative of the first iteration.

Dunno, I probably wouldn’t get a stationary steam machine over a mobile steam deck. Though being able to use Thunderbolt 4 for an eGPU on a steam deck would be a welcome enhancement, but that’s a whole different discussion.

Do people that exclusively buy used cars have less exposure because there isn’t as much off gassing of the newly applied chemicals? Or are older cars more susceptible due to the breakdown over time?
