That show would be boring.

I go top down but I’ve also been known to reuse towels for more than one day so … yea.
They don’t allow privacy fences. Only shitty metal picket fences you can see through. Can’t go outside without everyone on the street all up in your business and everyone’s fucking dogs are constantly barking at each other and getting loose because their fence isn’t tall enough to keep them from jumping it.
I use WSL for cli stuff and I have Mint running in a VM for desktop stuff. I briefly tried dual booting but it was a pain in the ass and I ended up rarely switching to the Linux partition in practice.
A long time ago. Now I just do it on the side but knowing how to fix cars has always been a good “in” to get girls to talk to me but from there I still had to actually get them to go out with me and see where it went. It’s not like I was just straight up trading car repairs for sex.
It’s not totally de-valued. Being able to fix cars has gotten me laid more than probably anything else.
If ChatGPT was free I might see their point but it’s not so no. If you’re making money from someone’s work you should pay them.
So we’re still better off without them.
You don’t think the massive amount of repetitive jokes and reposts and overall shitty attention whoring content was a problem on Reddit?
We need fedi to go mainstream to deny corpo trash profits.
Why? Who cares if we don’t have to interact with them? Becoming mainstream was the downfall of Reddit.
Agreed. Look what Reddit turned into. Better to have fewer but higher quality comments than a sea of the same tired jokes and ancedotes over an over again.
I programmed my headset macro keys to do this with nircmd.
I also like Keepass
Everything+Freecommander makes Windows so much more tolerable.
I do recommend NOT watching YouTube Obsidian “gurus”, their system works for them not you.
One of these is actually what got me started with it. I do not rigidly adhere to their system but it was a nice starting point I have since adapted to my own style. If I had gone into it blind I would have made a lot less progress because I’m kind of dumb when I have nothing to go off.
A few years ago I was responsible for provisioning accounts in an application with a shitty admin UI. The process for doing so was to create the account and then give the account access it required by clicking in the list of available access and then clicking the arrow to move it over to the assigned list. Or you could just double click on it. To remove access you did the same thing from the assigned list to the available list. Or you could go into a particular item and remove the accounts from it that way. One day I was working through terminating a department that had been laid off when I noticed that on one of the largest access items the account list only had names up to “j” in the alphabet. Apparently my mouse had developed a double click problem and I had managed to select the bottom half of that list. I did not have access to any logs or anything that would allow me to reverse that change and it was a Saturday so I was basically fucked until Monday morning when I could contact the application support and they could hopefully fix it.
I don’t think that was it because it was nagging me every day for a few weeks until I finally got a free weekend to deal with the updates. I have a ton of shit going all the time and restarting is kind of a chore.
Mine doesn’t reboot on it’s own and I don’t recall ever changing any settings to prevent it other than messing with the thing OP is talking about which wouldn’t let me turn it off. I get nag screens daily after a while but it never actually restarts. Maybe one of my applications prevents it or something.
That was my first thought when I saw it. “That’s something my dad would do to get past an inspection”.
