Freetube has a sponsor skip feature, skips sponsored sections of videos automatically, so it looks like this has already been solved
Your biggest mistake is trusting the word of a corporation.
If it was a good faith action why would they do it in secret, why not make a post about it and informing everyone before hand about the situation?
For me, all evidence points to them hoping no one would notice and “temporary” would roll over into permanently.
Don’t use brave if you care about privacy, they claim to be privacy focused but will sell you out the first chance they get (which they already did)
Honestly it looks like corpo speak for “we’re waiting for everyone to forget so we can sweep it under the rug”.
Imo yes it would, because then it wouldn’t be hidden censorship, it would be noticeable to even the average joe and ways around it would become more widespread.
No browser should be censoring any content, if a country wants to block something they should be forced to do it themselves, which would be more visible to the public.
Also the fact they didn’t tell anyone until people started asking questions… This isn’t a “good faith, temporary” action. It’s a “let’s hope no one notices us doing bad shit” action.
Jeez, I am currently trying to install Linux on my HP ProBook and having issues with it - one thing I noticed was my bios was last updated in 2014 so I was going to see if updating helped… Might hold off on that now
I get your point, and you’re probably right for most, but I haven’t purchased a premade desktop in a looong time - my current desktop I purchased the parts individually and installed windows manually
Which distro did you end up on? I’ve been looking into them and after using steamos on my deck, I think I will go with Bazzite kde
Lol. Okay whatever you say.
I’m using windows 11 and after hearing about recall and all the other shit they’ve done, I’ve finally decided to make the jump to Linux
So for atleast me, this was the final straw
Ah reminds me of good ol’ reddit
My friend had this issue recently, it turned out to be his CPU overheating, his event log also showed no details of the cause, it was only when he installed a temp monitor and kept it open on his 2nd screen that he saw his CPU was hitting the max allowed temp just before getting the power cut.
Hope you manage to get it sorted
Searching for “e foundation” gives only 2 results on duckduckgo, sus
Oh yeah it’s all good, I just talked about millions of years of recovery and the extinction of humans, but yeah I’m a shill for big oil.
What are you smoking? I want some
In the grand scale of the universe we aren’t even a blip, any “permanent” damage we cause will be reversed over hundreds of thousands or millions of years after we’ve wiped ourselves out.
And even if there was some kind of damage that couldn’t be reversed, the next cycle of life would just adapt to whatever the issue is
Make sure you apply your own views to heterosexual content then.
No content that shows; kissing, hand holding, weddings, happy couples, families.
Notice how none of this content is ‘controversial’ unless it has the word gay in front of it. None of this stuff is sexual, but you still think it’s damaging kids to see happy, functioning gay families.
You don’t give a shit about protecting kids, you just want to force your backwards views onto others
Controllers being better is your opinion, and seems like most steam players don’t agree.
