Asshole Google is doing asshole things. Before switching to Lineage OS this thing annoyed me so much. A few days ago I saw this prompt when using my father’s phone and I couldn’t believe that this thing is still happening. Google is so stubborn.
I’ve been using Firefox since 2018 and I wish I started to use it much earlier than that but sorry this sounds like a lame excuse. Edge came as a default browser but no one used it when it was built on EdgeHTML engine. People love it now because with Chromium it is a better browser now.
@RunningInRVA@lemmy.world @Maven@lemmy.zip IMO it would be monopolistic if Google forced Mozilla to remove the ability to change the default search engine. But if you want Mozilla to ask users which search engine they would like to set as default during initialization of the browser even after dealing with Google, that would definitely be nice.
How is that monopolistic if we are able to change our default search engine?
-I finished Mafia 2 long before I finished Mafia 1 and I loved it. But after playing Mafia 1 DE, I replayed Mafia 2 and the story felt worse than Mafia 1. -F***ing police. They are everywhere. -Stupid achievements like “drive 1000 miles”, “collect 150 posters”.
I loved Batmobile riddles.
Wanna to hear worse? In Turkey you can not import a phone with shipping. You have to bring it with yourself and register it with your passport after paying around 1000 dollars.
I know. I was talking about all 3rd party bullshit on Steam. My bad, I could’ve written more clearly.
Good. I hope this collaboration will kick all 3rd party launchers stuff from Steam in the future.
Firefox Mobile supports SponsorBlock too. uBO+SponsorBlock is the best thing ever happened to Youtube so far.
Good. Now get rid of Epic Fail Games.
Common sense won’t protect you against vulnerabilities like remote code executions. And keep in mind that we still use our common sense even if we use up to date softwares.
Enjoy your security vulnerabilities.
Epic client is a spyware.
Apparently he still believes other Linux desktop distros don’t randomly brick themselves with updates every six months.
Well they don’t.
Epic copied some Steam files to its own folder without informing the users. When people found out, Tim Sweeney ( CEO of Epic Fail) said that it was a bad implementation.
Yes I am aware of that launcher but I don’t want to support a shady company.
No thanks. We don’t need a spyware on our systems.
Idk how it looks like on PS but I finished it last year on PC and it was looking great already.
