  • Congrats!!

I just started with fusion360 so I can’t speak to tinkercad’s ease of use. Take it slow and make some simple stuff to begin with, like 3d letters or a guitar picks. YouTube is a treasure trove of CAD info if you get stuck

The spiral notebook cover will actually be easier than you might think. You just need to count the holes and the distance between the top and bottom hole, then make a ‘pattern’ of holes that goes between those points.

This might be daunting right now, but Hueforge would be perfect for the designs on the front. You could do full color detailed pictures!

If you have any trouble reach out to me and I can help!

Here is a Hueforge I did, they are only 1-2mm thick which is perfect for a notebook front.

  • I just had the same experience with therapy and psychiatry. Even Zoloft does nothing, it might dull it slightly but it doesn’t fix the problems underlying my depression.

I make $77,000 a year, and I’m living the same as a person making minimum wage in the 70s.
I have a side job too, and I’m still struggling to just feed myself and pay rent. I don’t know how people working serving and retail jobs are even affording to live inside.

  • There should be “grades” of Benchy. This speed doesn’t translate to anything you would actually want to print. Aren’t we trying to benchmark the speed of usable prints ?

Sure I could spit out something like this in 6 min, but in 12 I can make it near perfect.
I’d call this a fail and tweak my settings
