Whatsapp keep getting bloated after each update. I haven’t yet agreed to the new privacy policy and don’t care that I can’t use the newer features like Channels because of that. If not for professional reasons, I would have uninstalled it long ago, just around when I convinced my friends and family to move to Signal for personal conversations. But because I still have to use it professionally, I really hope they don’t introduce ads on their core service i.e. messaging.

The word of the year should be “enshittification”.
