I do believe there were fan attempts but they never gained quite enough traction.

I’ve done some karate, wu shu(gong/Kung fu), and Tai chi. Thankfully, my instructors never got into the BS of chi or Feng shui.
I do think doing the physical work without accompanying mental work is missing out on some stuff though. Your physical status goes along with mental status and vice versa. Whether you choose to perceive that as chi, chakras, or just plain mental control(what I choose) is up to you.
Formerly known as time Warner cable (TWC) changed their name to try and avoid all the bad rep they rightfully had (and still have).
That’s an interesting take but with our term lengths that means a 15y can vote for president and senator but can’t vote for a house rep.
A heck of a lot of people are also trapped by work, family, and just not having time to keep up with all the changes.
Does the podcast still have to be in English? And what topics are you usually interested in?
True but also something that should have been tested for and known before it was upright and fuelled again. I.e. why didn’t safety checks catch the issue(s)?
It opened fine for me so I don’t think there’s a paywall.
The problem is that you can never be certain about someone’s ability to stand their morals atop money until it is truly offered to them. Supposedly Gaben has turned down Billion dollar offers for steam. It is certainly not every person who will do so and it is hard to know how a person will react until that is truly offered to them. I don’t know that I’d turn it down (though I also don’t know how much Gaben makes).
Names going to change to Urectum in 2620 anyway.
The social contract exists always. It isn’t a paper contract but a societal consensus about what constitutes acceptable behavior. Gambling joint money without agreement is not socially acceptable behavior. Bypassing a eula/nda for a beta version of a thing and then spreading the info just because you’re legally in the clear is not societally acceptable behavior. It doesn’t matter that it shouldn’t have been so easy to do so or that they won’t face legal consequences.
Valve fucked up but the Verge still broke the social contract regardless of whether they’re legally in the clear or not.
Doing something just because “it’s legal” doesn’t make it a moral justification. My wife and I have a joint bank account. It is legal for me to take money from it and gamble it all away, the gate is “open” but that doesn’t make it morally justifiable.
He doesn’t allow those notes on his own posts.
Paperback. I’ve sometimes waited for paperback versions of books after their initial hardcover release. Cheaper, lighter, same reading, I used to be less patient so would suck it up and get the hardcover, nowadays I don’t read as much so waiting is easier. I read a lot when traveling and hardcovers are just such a pain. The only “nice” collection I have is LOTR+hobbit.
I’m trying out an eReader soon but I’m not sure I’ll be able to get away from the desire of physically turning pages.
GTO was/is great.
It’s Bing without tracking. And the things like quotation marks still work. However, baseline search using it has still gone to shit.
And? Whether it’s fair or not that is their competition.
Yeah, they’re definitely glossing over a lot of things. They don’t even mention the source of co2 or even a real timeline.
It’s quite obvious at a theoretical level but not easy in terms of figuring out the actual process. A lot of science like that.
Unless this solves the main problems of headaches, batter life, and looking like a fucking idiot it’ll fail just like Google did.
That said Google glass (2014)and this are about 10y apart in technology advances.
