i guess in this day and age, only bandwidth could be the bottleneck. there is more than plenty of silicon to support this load.
i hope sign up questions stay forever. those should be mandatory. like an airport: u have to go through customs and answer questions, else u are a hazard to the airline industry. a blacklist among instances should be universal to filter human waste.
i am seeing e-h comments in fact, and thats whats bugging me :/ i am a lemmygrad user
yea, guess i ll wait. for exemple, when i m in lemmygrad (please dont judge me lol) i can see comments from explosive heads users, which unfortunatly, my instance (lemmy grad) is still federated with them, but also i dont wanna block a user from them each time i see one, i dont really wanna hear from them. yea, but this is much bigger than a community, this is a whole instance, hence the question. thought i should be vocal about this feature. i guess i wasnt the first one to suggest. thank you for linking me in to the github page.
i wish us users could afford such luxury of blocking certain instances on our own.
well they brought it on themselves. mods and users are the ones who made it what it is. Denying users third party apps is a straight spit in the face. best way is just consume their media with null telemetry and 0 shame.
i hope the bulk of reddit stay where they are now. we dont need those really. also so many instances to read from. we dont seem to be running out of content here any time soon.
i remember reading that bacteriophages can be used to treat antibiotic resistant bacterial illnesses, also maybe nanobots equipped with cas9 enzymes to excize the resistance mutated genes to make antibiotics effective again. nucleotids. idk … just a hypothesis. scientists know better
