Say that again after you sit the same IT exams as I did.

F-Droid could go through it, the thing that is prohibited is for Google to bar them just because they are a competitor.
Except we would grab loans from our banker friends who are also in on the scheme, and use some of that money to pay taxes and buy some congresscritters to avoid further taxes. The banker guys would then grab some loans themselves, preferably also from each other, as they slowly repackage the whole thing and then sell it to retirement funds to make it everyone else’s problem. /s
In which we all participate whether we like it or not.
The difference is that the stock market has a very distorted definition of value.
If you say that the value of something is what someone else is willing to pay for it, I could trade my house with a friend and say they paid a billion for it, except they paid me with their own billion-dollar house, and we would both become billionaires. Of course, that would be bullshit, but if my friend and I sat on the board of the FED, it would somehow become actually real.
I see how that works, but the question is, how far can that stretch? Wall Street already tells us there is stuff worth more than 40 years of the US GDP trading around in their pockets, so how much more can that get before they get called on their bullshit like me and my hypothetical friend?
Men should all be (the sole) breadwinners.
My guess is that the argument is that participating in society does not equal endorsement of the system we live in. This is how musicians make money. By playing music to who pays for it.
That said, I myself am of two minds about them taking the money.
On one side, what the fuck, that’s not how it’s supposed to work. On the other side, at least precedent doesn’t mean much in the EU.
Brexit. The EU has laws forbidding stuff like this.
Russians had flown out singers to Ukraine singing Gruppa Krovi to the soldiers. This shit goes across cultures.
Well technically GDPR applies, but who knows if any cars are actually compliant.
The ability for a car to call emergency services in the event of a crash, and thus the mobile / data connection required to do that, has been mandatory since 2018 in all new cars sold in the EU.
So there is no cost incentive not to have the internet connection in there, as it is a basic safety feature now, like seatbelts.
Yes, most cars have had their own data connection for a while now. If I know correctly, it’s a requirement for Europe since you have to put that button to call emergency services in the car, so it has to have a GSM module, so effectively it has to have mobile data.
The problem is that ad-driven businesses are price dumping by tricking people into using their services by telling them it’s free, and thus killing the market for everyone else. I am not turning my adblocker off. I do not expect “free” content in perpetuity. I expect the “free” content business model to die off.
GamePass is still early in the enshittification cycle. It will get worse.
Well, the endgame of that radicalization will be hangman’s nooses being put up in the Capitol, last time the people putting it up were too stupid and led by a moron, but if they let it continue, someone half competent might try to come at them as well. They don’t live that far away from society that if they let it catch fire, they won’t get burned.
Most of these articles are buzzword SEO for stock trading bots. Bots are set to buy AI up now, so you want to put AI next to your ticker if you want that bonus this quarter!
Try the Total War games, especially the older (non-Warhammer) ones. Units take time to carry out actions, there is no point and not really a way to do insane actions per minute counts, as if a unit is engaged in melee, it can’t really disengage without losses. There is also a great scale to the whole thing. I loved Shogun 2 for example.
I also like Eugen games like Wargame, Steel Division or Warno if a modern shooty type thing is more your game. Maybe try Regiments, that one is also good and maybe a bit less complex than Eugen titles.
Neither of these has base building, both are more of a “this is how many soldiers get for this battle, use them wisely” type game.
I had a decent AMD card which ran it very well, but still had a bunch of artifacts like Judy’s head blocking reflections for the whole lake.
Bank spokesman says they are itching to be the sector to fire the most workers, poised to make the economy so much better.
