Is that just a think people say or are there studies or books about this?

I agree and do not further engage in this discussion to not induce any more confusion ;)

You have to swipe, boomer
I had an Acer of the same series with that sticker. When that notebook was produced, 2k or 4k was not a thing. We were in the era of transitioning from what we called “HD-Ready” or 720p to “FullHD” or 1080p. These numbers refer to the rows, so the horizontal resolution. At least for me that number is pretty clear I immediately know what it means. I bought that notebook in late 2018 I highly doubt this sticker exists anymore.
The era I’m talking about is like 5-8 years ago btw

It makes no sense to discuss here. They probably follow Russia’s narrative of Europe being a puppet of the US.
Lol, ml. users getting wild in the comments
I wonder if that’s really true though. From a strategic point of view it makes not much sense to me to focus on such a tiny community as Lemmy is over the usual targets such as TikTok, Meta and Shitter.
The community is a very weird mix of Anti-Imperialists, communists and islamists.
They are not openly Russia-friendly, but they are very uncritical towards authoritarian systems. From pro-palestine over pro Hamas to pro Iran, and then you are almost there.
I sometimes wonder if it is just the US-american left going insane these days or if some corners of Lemmy are under the influence of Russian and Chinese troll factories.
Time to raise an issue! I think markdown should be limited to the text body of a post…
Lemmy.ml is doomed. You were unlucky to pick the wrong instance. It’s one of the downside of federated Lemmy that .ml is the oldest instance, leading to many cool communities being hosted there. The only way is to start that community on another instance that is not .ml or .world and staying patient.
Hexbear and lemnygrad are not even a choice.
I asked this 2 months ago, but honestly I’m not really much smarter: https://sh.itjust.works/post/24120546
Yes, I use KeepassXC as a password manager. It takes me some clicks, but I am fine with that.
I still don’t care about Cookies + Cooking Auto-Delete is what I do. Do whatever the fuck is needed to get rid of the cookie banner and then delete all cookies when closing the tab.
I don’t even whitelist websites, I just don’t need cookies

Ii admit it didn’t work out of the box on Mint as well, but didn’t take more then 10 minutes of tweaking. But yes, I would not call it “Linux-friendly”.
Interesting, I have no problems with a Pixma TS8350. Printing is working as shitty as it has always been on Windows. I have yet to configure the scanner to be fair.
I get these vibes too, their other comment are in the same style.
Isn’t it a privilege being able to pay with Buttcoin at all?
