I couldn’t get goofcord to work on Wayland but webcord works great

Not a big anti Mozilla guy but have you seen their earnings? You could probably put the Mozilla donations to better use elsewhere imo
Nice. Still stuck using libreoffice until they support Wayland unfortunately.
Understandable
Since it’s not on F-droid, anybody managed to install this with Obtainium?
Edit: doesn’t look like the releases on the gitlab have plain APK files so guess it’s not possible with Obtainium? Brand new to it so idk. Not stoked about having to download this from their website
Any vpn into your home network should work right? And that would include other solutions intended for local transfers mentioned here
Cool, what do you need to be your own ISP?
If js docs are a good working replacement then I can understand wanting to avoid all the annoying issues with typescript. I haven’t used it before but it seems less flexible and more verbose, what’s other people’s experience with it? I’d have to check it out myself but for the moment typescript makes JavaScript a little more bearable.
I use this one too, was the best I found from around 7 RSS readers I tried out
I use this exact combo too. I heard k-9 mail will become thunderbird on android, do you think this will make it any better or shall I just stick to fairemail
For streaming a game to a friend so we could connect via LAN I’ve used sunshine on the “server” and moonlight for the “client”
Compiling shaders can take a long time for some games though, MCC took about 15 minutes for me. No reason to unnecessarily lock the UI from UX perspective anyways imo
And a lot of us are only trying lemmy because of reddit killing 3rd party apps, which were great apps. Now using lemmy through infinity and it feels good
Sailfish OS does look interesting to be fair, I’ll for sure check it out when I need to get a new phone (hopefully not for a long time lol)
I use public transport a lot and google maps is very helpful so unfortunately can’t live without it, last time I tried openstreet map it was useless for buses etc. As for alternative apps, I’m assuming I’d have trouble with, for example, banking apps, or obscure/niche apps such as my country’s one for booking public transport etc.? Just nice using something that can install all Android apps OOTB
Same lol, maybe a Linux phone one day so I don’t have to buy another Google phone but unless it runs all the same apps it’s unlikely
I use GOS but… Google phone…
