Do we need AI for this? It’s already super easy to tell fake news from real.
Is it on BBC/CBC/Routers/AP? It’s probably real.
Is it on Forbes/Facebook/Xitter? It’s probably garbage.

Doctorow is a gem. Great article, thanks for posting. I basically agreed with everything he said.
Too true. :(
And the same morons will vote for PP here. Np brains, just slogans and anger.
Come on up to Canada. We’ve been suffering brain drain for ages, and could sure use some scientists and doctors!
Great! That means we can harvest 20% more customer data with only 7% more slowdown!
-some MS exec, probably.
They don’t care if we want it. They want the info it’ll give them. This isn’t for us, it’s for them.
The rich control the laws and they don’t want to contribute.
Though true, doesn’t answer the asked question in any way. You still get to choose between shitty and fucking horrific AND shitty. So why abstain?
Great reviews, thanks! Never heard of this pack but now I’m about to go buy it!
300sqft for $3500/month and they’re not even allowed to smoke?
Well that’s disheartening. Can’t believe that many people prefer a racist con man to a competent woman.
Thanks, but no thanks. :)
Tried a few times and can never get past the first few chapters.
Huh. I loved Seveneves.
Wanted to love this but it never seemed to get hard or tricky. Whole game kinda felt like a tutorial for the hard levels they never came.
Really?
Yup. I have 1 app that requires window. That’s all that’s keeping me. That one app. And we’re migrating away from it towards a webif, so it’s only a matter of time.
And you didn’t get a 3 day ban for threatening violence. Even if all you said was “I miss when we could unapologetically punch Nazis.”
Worked at IBM. Co-worker was in the datacenter, saw a bluescreened machine, and rebooted it. Much chaos ensued. Machine was part of a stability testing project, team running it was OTW to the DC to look at the machine, and we’re very confused when they arrived that it was running. “Helpful guy” was chastised, given a warning about touching machines that weren’t his responsibility.
Two weeks later. Same guy. Same machine. Same bluescreen. Guess what he did? He rebooted it. Again.
Walked to the door that day.
