Hopefully this hack starts some conversations on how they can ensure longevity for their project. Seems they’re being attacked on multiple fronts now.

I have my Google TV in apps only mode. If Google can still see that I pirate literally everything I watch, and circumvent YouTube ads with it then, well, maybe it sends a message.

My dad faked having brain cancer when I was 9 to cover up a drug problem. He sent me to live with my mom to party while I believed he was on the brink of death.

We have a strained relationship now.

They do not think it’s likely that hospital staff, Hezbollah affiliated or not, could be in danger. I challenged that. I don’t think they were aware that Hezbollah had a civilian wing at all, and that many public sector workers are technically “Hezbollah-affiliated” due to the nature of the political situation there.

No one has suggested that in this comment chain.

Good, then we should all agree that this was a despicable attack on Israel’s part and this whole conversation is pointless.

That article directly refutes that. It is heavily implied when you’re all saying “Hezbollah” you’re talking about militants. Again, it is unreasonable to suggest that workers, including doctors and nurses, that are part of the civilian arm of Hezbollah’s de facto government are fair targets in either morality or international law.

Hezbollah, the de facto government of large parts of Lebanon, ordered the pagers and widely distributed them. Many of them went to civilians for legitimate purposes. It’s unreasonable to suggest that these are fair targets because they were briefly in Hezbollah’s control at some point along the chain.

There isn’t one, because this is objectively not true.

I used to love Simpsons Wrestling, because I didn’t know any better. I think I was too young to really grasp the concept of a “bad game” yet.

Its still fun to spin up in a nostalgic sort of way.

Awesome game, great technical achievement for its time.

You need to use your imagination to fill in the gaps, its kinda dull when taken at face value. And you definitely need a pen and paper to keep track of market prices.

I’m not denying that these features are a welcome addition, I’m just lamenting the loss of the cheaper version for use-cases where those features arent really needed.

I pretty much just watch Youtube on my bedroom TV, and I got one for my mom so she can watch Netflix on her 10 year old 720p 32”. I don’t want to pay $100 for that.

I might get the new one for Steam Link in the living room though, that does sound sick.

I get what you’re saying, but these new ones are twice the price of the 4K Chromecast. It sucks that they’re killing the $30 HD Chromecast as well, its great for my spare TV. I wouldn’t want to pay 3x that price for essentially the same functionality if I need to replace it.

I know there’s other Android TV boxes that are comparable, but Google’s offering was an easy go-to.

Airpods are more about convenience than sound quality. Not sure how cameras factor in there though.
