Makes sense. Thanks for the info!

I’ve always thought that CAPTCHA also checksfor time, e.g. if the correct solution is entered too fast, it will determine that you are a bot. This would mean that a fast bot would not really “win”. Not sure if this is the case or why I’ve thought it is, but it came to my mind from this 😅
Radical/Rad!
Nah…I’m perfectly fine just finishing the story.
…
Unless that’s part of the story 😅
I think I’m supposed to go to the area with the bees. I never found the entrance so the game’s been on hold for a few years 😬

This reminds me: I should finish Hollow Knight.
Earlier today I read that Twit…X had threatened to sue and got quite an epic reply from CCDH lawyers which underlined the many ways in which a lawsuit would hurt X first and foremost. Apparently they decided to have a go anyway. Time to get some popcorn 🍿
That’s a helluva expensive shot. I mean, you should definitely get it, but nobody should have to pay that much for it. I guess that’s USA…
Forcing this might very well be something EU opposes. While there is a lot of corporate lobbying, Google would be forcing everyone to either use chromium or make compatibility changes into other browser. While not a total monopoly, it still limits the options radically. Therefore there might be hope that EU forbids this type of action. Let’s see…
Leaving Twitter was easy.
Just log out once and since you can’t even read embedded tweets without being logged in, you are practically isolated from the whole platform. If you last a few days, you realize that you’re not really missing anything…
Good point!
Just stated using Revanced Extended YouTube. One of the best apps there is. Makes everything so much more convenient and with zero cost.
Maybe so, although I don’t really have a interest in that. I really wish I was able to maintain my skills in both “fields”. I’ve found out that nowadays it is important to have people who can interpret layman problems and wishes to techies and explain technological “jargon” to “normal” people. Being a middleman like this seems to have it’s benefits.
Nox Archaist - Wasn’t expecting much, was blown away. Definetily not for everyone, but personally I think it’s the most engaging game I’ve played this year. Surpasses even Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
And just to make it clear: this is not a shit post. I really enjoy Nox Archaist so much.
A humanist here, working in the cultural heritage (which is also increasingly digital) field.
I reckon I have more computer skills than an average user but in no way I am a “techie”. It’s just that I know how to search for tech solutions and am not afraid of breaking the computer. Due to using Unity I also have some experience with C# and currently I am trying to learn python (mostly just for fun but you’ll never know if it ends up being helpful at some point).
So definetily not a tech person, but interested in both the humanist and technological side if life.
Watched B5 in around 2010 and it’s easily one of the best series ever created.
Having one guy refusing breath more life into the series is absurd but not unheard-of. Didn’t Doctor Who face similar problems when it ended in late 1980s? It took them almost 20 years to bring the series back…
That one I knew, but thanks anyway 🙂
5 bucks for network monitoring made it a deal for me. Thanks 🙂
If I remember correctly, it is explicitly referred during the time Dream is held captive by the Burgess family. It is explained that the universe tries to make up for Dreams absence and a guy sees nightmares that cease only when he starts wearing a gas mask and fighting crime. This is the pulp version of the Sandman, so yes, He is part of the Gaiman lore.
