I’m a camera operator for sporting events. I noticed they had one of these at a rink I shoot at in a small town and chuckled.

Now that they’ve realized it sucks I wish they’d take it down so it would be nice for it to stop getting in my shots.

I feel like someone needs to point out that this saying is often conflated with the idea of 15 minute cities.

The idea of 15 minute cities is that people want their amenities within 15 minutes so they don’t have to drive.

It is not an idea to keep you confined and take away your ownership of things.

Not really an answer to your question, but if you live somewhere that freezes think about where your pipes are.

You gotta heat the bathroom and kitchen and any other rooms that may have pipes running through them, or you’re going to freeze and probably burst some pipes.

Or, you could leave your taps trickling, but that expensive too.
