I’ve been jumping between Genshin Impact (Fontaine recently released), Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, and Baldur’s Gate 3. I haven’t made much progress in Genshin or BG3 because I’m having so much fun in Bomb Rush Cyberfunk lol

I had no idea Hexbear decided to start federating until I saw the shitshow that is that thread. So glad I never have to see their BS lol
I’d love to, but I can’t afford it. D: Pain
We don’t need bots. It’s concerning some people think any community /needs/ bots. That type of infinite growth mentality is wack and I don’t subscribe to it. Like you, I block almost every bot I come across and my experience only continues to improve.
Yeeeah… It’s crazy how many quality of life features Misskey and Firefish have over Mastodon. I’m thinking about making the switch myself despite the big difference in UI.
To be fair, according to the article this project is less than a month old! I’m sure it will continue to improve.
Yeah. Beehaw isn’t on version 0.18 and Jerboa isn’t compatible with anything below that version, so I figured that’s why I went from no crashes to a bunch of 'em. I switched to Liftoff for now.
The music is so fucking good in JSRF and JSR. I’ve had the tracks in playlists for years despite not touching JSRF since I was a kid with access to the OG Xbox. It’s a shame it was never brought up to any other platform so I’m forced to emulate
Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is the reason I’m replaying JSRF all these years later! I’m (im)patiently waiting for its release
Jet Set Radio Future!
Note: I am primarily on Mastodon and have been on-and-off since 2017.
I don’t know how much success you will have in the short term trying to pull “field experts” from Mastodon to engage on Lemmy. The vast majority of current Mastodon users came from big Twitter and Tumblr waves, not Reddit. There are different expectations re: etiquette and moderation between the two platforms, and Lemmy doesn’t have some of the moderation / privacy / security features that Mastodon users like.
Plus, a lot (not all) Mastodon users dislike Reddit’s culture and unfortunately, Lemmy has seen a sharp turn to mirroring that culture. Even I have been increasingly turned off in recent weeks; it’s only because I’m on Beehaw that I’ve found the Lemmy experience bearable.
