If you have UEFI enabled, probably you also have secure boot. I did a script to create a usb pendrive that works with UEFI and Secure Boot, you can boot a liveusb Debian, Ubuntu or clonezilla at the moment

yo have to use cloudflare dns for it to work, not sure, but maybe you can use an external DoH DNS server, haven’t tried that

if you have powerful enough computer you can use an AI to auto translate subs offline, I use to translate from english with a small python script. It’s not perfect, but they usually are like 90% ok
