RSS should become popular again. There are great clients for all platforms, even iOS:

• NetNewsWire (iOS/macOS)
• Read You (Android)
• RSS Guard (Linux/Windows)

I also recommend using the Awesome RSS extension in Firefox/LibreWolf to quickly see if a website has an RSS feed. It also works in Firefox Mobile/Fennec/Mull.

Not sure what you mean, you can get a used Pixel 6a for 120 EUR, which will continue to get updates for another 2.5 years. Show me another phone with such a great value proposition. There are some really good deals, and I’d rather pay a little more for a phone that can actually be used privately, instead of buying some cheap Chinese, spyware-infested garbage that will fall apart after 2 years, and never gets any security updates.

Time to switch to uBlock Lite or another ad blocker browser. Firefox fully supports ad blockers like uBlock Origin. LibreWolf removes all the Mozilla nonsense like Pocket, their new advertising crap, sponsored sites, etc. and comes with uBO preinstalled.
