This sounds interesting. I currently plan on doing exactly that. But everyone gets to use their own deck.
How did you test the balancing?
Do you know the western rpg that uses a similar systems? Wild cards: sons of the gun?
Hey, I wasn’t aware of the Western RPG you mentioned, but upon reviewing it, I find that it differs significantly from mine. The similarities are minimal, aside from the use of cards. The testing process was quite straightforward. We played in numerous playtests, and I adjusted the numbers and probabilities during that phase. However, achieving a 100% perfect balance was never the objective, as the inclusion of the chaos mechanic was intentional.
