yeah that’s a bit more work I need to fix up that I got tired of working on. in the kitty.conf it’s color4 but while changing that to black does fix it at the bottom it makes the all the other text black. so I’m still going through all the colors to see how to just turn off those white backgrounds. lol there’s 255 color settings in the conf.
lol I kinda wish I didn’t read your comment, been playing around with it all morning. it’s infuriating cause the CSS can change colors for everything else but that ONE thing is tied in with with the tabs at the bottom.
Yep, monotone themes are terrible for consistency, you get one terminal program set correctly but others will not. My suggestions is to surrender… Been there, done that and never ever again.

Btw, you need to fix your bottom panels, text and bg are white.

yup it’s a challenge so I had to compromise. you’re right though. here’s the result:
I’ll probably change it today to a different colorscheme.
