I doubt that was the case since a lot of films at that time (including Phantom menace) went through digital intermediate process that makes the camera it was filmed on irellevant for this discussion. The whole phantom menace was scanned and from that point on it went through vfx, coloring and other postproduction stages the same way as a film that was shot digitally.
