I liked his character and wish they hadn’t killed him off, but five seasons is a decent run for a show, and I don’t think it’s obvious that it would have lasted longer if he had remained.

The show basically committed suicide by killing off Jason Isaacs character.
It (will have) lasted four seasons without him. I liked his character and wish they hadn’t killed him off, but five seasons is a decent run for a show, and I don’t think it’s obvious that it would have lasted longer if he had remained.
