I would prefer there is a bar to type in.
Currently, my method is:
- go to search
- type in the community name
- click search
- then click community tab
- click the community you want.
The problem is it not navigate to correct community if the community happens to be on multiple instances.
For example, I want to navigate to !reddit@lemmy.world
But top results in community search navigate me to !reddit@lemmy.ml
The example above, I am trying to demonstrate how I am trying to navigate to !reddit@lemmy.world ( which is local instance, I am on lemmy.world)
But the search function lead me everywhere but lemmy.world. I can’t even limit the search to local instance.
If only I have an address bar to enter specific text
“!reddit@lemmy.world”
Navigate community should be much better than use the search function.
