Forgive me, if this is already been posted, but I downloaded the app on TestFlight and I cannot login on my account. Could anybody help me out?
Hi all, if you’re getting the spinner when trying to log in, please check that you’re using the latest build (0.10.7) by going to https://testflight.apple.com/join/jKENkGjX and following the instructions there.
If you’re still having problems after upgrading, please let us know!
This is my problem too - login has worked fine with Mlem, Memmy (iOS both), and web interface, but not Liftoff
Same, I’ve had no trouble with logging in on Memmy, Mlem, or the few different web apps I’ve tried so the credentials are definitely ok
On lemmy.world? That shouldn’t be a problem. Can you screenshot the page with any message that you get?
There’s no message, the spinner just keeps going on the login button.
Okay, thanks for reporting this. Someone has raised an issue for this at GitHub, so you’re not the only person affected.
Are there any other unusual characters in your password? Spaces, Unicode, whatever?
There is some punctuation in the password, How important is it to be specific?

It might be worth experimenting with a few changes to it and seeing if there’s something specific. Spaces in and after the password have been an issue too.

No problem. Let us know if you find anything. edit: Plus check your version number. if you’re on 0.0.1 you need to upgrade.
Ah oh interesting - how do I update though? I’m on testflight ought it not grab the update automatically?
