Thanks to Costco fueled bulk buying, between the last time I bought deodorant and this week, my deodorant changed from the Scent of Adventure to the Scent of Cypress.
So is Cypress the sum total of adventure or an overdue respite?
Looks like they reconsidered using the Spongebob typeface.
Enshittification at it again!
Here I read it as, “Aqua Beef”.
Smell like sloppy steaks from Truffony’s.
Do you mean “Cyprus” the country, or Cypress the type of tree?
I was thinking of Cyprus. But the last company I worked for bought a small business in Cypress, CA. and I conflated the two when I made the title.
Unlike reddit I am pretty sure we can edit titles on Lemmy
I thought about it, but I’m inclined to leave it. Especially because, unlike Reddit, Lemmy users are understanding… and I kind of like my retirement “joke.”
I didn’t know about Cypress CA, but probably should have expected such.
Old Old Spice, meet the New Old Spice.
Does it smell the same? Maybe adventure smells like cypress.
Quite similar but it’s hard to tell.
The smell reminds me little enough of a cypress, that I’ve gone in thinking it’s related to Cypress California. But now that I think about it, it smells even less like a suburb of LA.
Maybe it smells like the rap group, Cypress Hill?
It ran out of aluminium too, poor thing.
Well I think you bought “Aluminum Free,” whereas the one on the left doesn’t say that. That brand sells both aluminum-full snd aluminum-free.
The “aluminum full” one you are referring to is the antiperspirant deodorant, while the “aluminum free” one is just a deodorant.
That’s correct.
Neither of these in the picture are antiperspirant deodorant.
That’s right.
They were both aluminum free, one’s just not labeled. I had to give up on antiperspirant a long time ago because it made my skin weird. Still, weirdly, kind of miss it though.
Continuous use of aluminum-based antiperspirant actually makes you sweat more overall, so OP probably made a good choice.
I’m aware, and agree
Tax haven.
Wait, what does your deodorant smell like? A…Qu- <cough> A what?
